Hey guys, it's Darling Girl's turn for an eye look using new shadows from their upcoming Paper Runway collection!
This look was so exciting when I started out, and then I did a little too much near my outer corner and BAM, water-city. My allergies were even worse because I forgot to take Claritin the night before so once my eye began to water it just kept running like a faucet, taking my eye makeup with it. I was so bummed because I couldn't do as much with it as I really wanted to; I'd wanted to add black shadow and kind of smoke it out, however black tears running down my cheek was not the aesthetic I was after. I did try about 3 times to reapply the makeup to my outer corner but my allergies were having none of it. le sigh :(
Anyway, it still shows the gorgeous colors so please keep reading for details!
Products:
-Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper*
-Jordana 12 HR Eyeshadow Pencil in Eternal White
Make It Work, Frock Star, and City Chic are all from the upcoming Paper Runway collection; I have to say I AM COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH CITY CHIC. I've often wished for a shadow from DG exactly like this; it is the perfect neutral touch-of-shimmer lid shade, or a gorgeous highlighter for eyes, cheeks, whatever. It is just the sort of product I will use every day- I need a whole jar of this magic.
I adore everything in the Paper Runway collection. Swatches will be coming soon! (I jumped the gun a little bit and posted an eye look before swatches this time, whoopsie!)
Isn't Frock Star out of this world??
