Silk Naturals Review (Part 1)

Today I determined to finally post swatches of the Silk Naturals products I received awhile back; my sister was also offered some things to try, so because I like the idea of having even more eyeshadows to show you all together, I got her permission to post those as well!
(You can check out my look using Silk Naturals eyeshadows here.)

Stick 'Em Eye Shadow Enhancer
I swatched everything over their Stick 'Em Eye Shadow Enhancer. It's kind of like a cross between Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy and Darling Girl's Glitter Glue, for those who are familiar with those products.
It's a clear gel that leaves a velvety feel to the skin after it dries, and is meant to enhance the eyeshadow by bringing out any sparkle, shimmer, or shift in the color. My tube had a few little blobs in it but didn't really seem to interfere with the product's performance. You just have to be careful to use the right amount; too little and the product dries too completely, so the eyeshadows won't be applied to their optimal advantage. Too much though and you run the risk of blobs of gel that are too wet when you apply your shadows; blobs of gel = blobs of eyeshadow. You won't get an even finish.
However, since probably most of you have used products like this before I'm sure you know what to do. ;)

On the website there are more detailed descriptions of each color, as well as recommendations for what to pair them with. Each listing also features swatches which seem to represent the products pretty accurately. However, many of these shadows are complex and can change their appearance depending on how they're worn/swatched, what base you use, the lighting in the room, etc. They're very versatile that way.
Welcome Matte is meant to be used with shimmery shadows to tone down their shimmer; it's a silky matte powder that I think would make an excellent blending shade.

Overall I'm very pleased with everything. My personal favorites include: Whiplash, Faerie, Loaded, Purr, Ion, Blessings, Butterfly Blue, Chucklehead, and Tiger Lily. There are tons more eyeshadows on the site, plus lots of other products like blushes, cream eyeliners, lip products, and more. I recommend Silk Naturals if you like a large selection of products to choose from. I have a wishlist of products I want to try so I plan to order again ;)

Have you ever ordered from Silk Naturals? If so, what are your favorite products? If not, is there anything in this post you'd love to try? Let me know in a comment!
Also, stay tuned for part 2 of my Silk Naturals review!
Thanks for reading!♥
