Today I have a look which I'm dubbing a "smokey red" look. I used a blackened red/bronze eyeshadow from Darling Girl Cosmetics on the lid, and some matte eyeshadows of various shades to smoke out the color. Scroll down for pics and products!
This is my totally unedited, half-finished face; the only area with makeup is around my right eye, everything else is totally bare lol. But I don't care, I'm just keepin' it real ;P

---------------------
I love the look of a sharply-lined Arabic-style eye, especially on the inner corner, but my eyes each have a different shape and the creasing is different; the right one is kind of hard to do this inner-corner eyeliner but I tried my best. Sadly I need a new black gel liner, this one is getting dried out and hard to work with but I think it turned out okay anyway. There are things I would have done differently but I won't pollute this post with my perfectionism, lol. I'll just be happy that I did makeup and took pictures, which is still difficult with fibromyalgia... I was sore for a while after but it was worth it.
It's hard to see Leviathan on the waterline in the pics but in person you could see the iridescence. I love Sex on Fire, it's such a gorgeous bronzey smokey red. Reminds me of Isis from BFTE, one of my old faves. It was also unexpectedly fun using Faint so heavily on my lid and crease; I normally shy away from layering on heavy dark matte colors but I'm just so in love with my Naked Basics, I can't live without it; the shadows are so buttery and pigmented and so easy to work with. Faint made such a lovely milk chocolate color on my skin. I must try this more often.. :)
Thanks for reading!♥
